Sunday School

Children's Sunday School

Our church uses Bible Song materials, produced by Faith Inkubators.

Bible Song is an arts-based, family friendly Sunday school geared toward preschoolers through 6th graders and their families.  Bible Song works four ways.

1.   PRESENTATION: On Sunday, familes start out by worshipping together.  After the Time for Young Disciples, children go to the Youth Room where they experience the lesson, done with colorful PowerPoint slides, karaoke music, sign language, and games.  All songs are verses direct from the New Revised Version of the Bible set to catchy tunes and done in different musical styles.

2.   SMALL GROUPS:  We break up and go to our classrooms, where leaders do “highs and lows” with the class. Everyone prays together, goes over the story, and works on an art project.

 3.   FAMILY: The rest of the week, you and your children are invited to spend 10 minutes a night together to share “highs and lows,” read a Bible verse, talk about the verse, pray together, and bless each other.  Click here to find a Bible reading and a question to discuss for each day.  You and your children are also welcome to go to the Faith Inkubators website for Bible verse songs, sign language, and games related to the lessons.  Click here for more information.

4.   WORSHIP:  The Sunday school is responsible for doing “The Time for Young Disciples” every few weeks to teach the congregation our music and show our art projects.

Our goal is that you and your children will experience key stories in the Bible and share where they connect with your lives, and that your children in turn will share what they have learned and done with the congregation.
